OVER 200 PEOPLE KILLED IN A RECENT TWIN BOMB EXPLOSURE,THIS AFTERNOON IN JOS


Over 200 people were killed this afternoon after a twin bomb explosions at Jos Main Market, between Railway Terminus and the temporary site of the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) According to reports, The first bomb blast went off around 2:55 PM while the second blow about 10 metres away,from the spot around 3:20 PM
According to CNN, there were three bomb explosion. The first one was a bomb planted at the Terminus market, some journalists quoted.
The second was at the same market place and could have been a bomb or gas canister ignited by the first explosure. The third was at Abuja market, where shoes are been sold.

Sahara Reporters wrote that over 200 people were killed,
The first bomb were planted in a Peugeot J5 van with the registration number XG 148 BLD, while the second explosure was carried out with a Toyota van with a Gombe state plate number.
According to an eye-witness, the second car which is Toyota Sienna van had been there since 6 AM, this morning. whic drew attention of some residents which reported it to some police officials, but, unfortunately,nothing was done until the car blow off some hours later.
It was gathered that victims of the explosion were being rushed to Ola hospital.
Earlier, the Commander of the Special Task Force (STF) on Jos crisis, Major Gen.l Dave Enetie, confirmed the incident, but didn't say the exact number of affected victims.
The Sound of the explosion was heard in Bukuru, which is about 20km away from Jos city
