Soldiers Attack BRT Buses In Lagos (Pic)


Nigerian soldiers laid an attack on BRT Buses along Ikorodu Road in Lagos State, as one of the BRT Bus killed a soldier this morning.

An eye witness reported that the unlucky soldier was riding a bicycle to work when the BRT bus accidentally hit him down at the Palmgrove bus-stop.

Alert was delivered to the soldiers at the Abalti Barracks, resulting the road block at Palmgrove by the angry soldiers as they began to attack any BRT in-sight, thus causing a great traffic jam.

Not less than four buses were burnt down, some journalists who attempted to take photos of the incident was beaten by the soldiers, Some pedestrians who were making calls with their phones or even just holding the phone in sight were beaten and their sphones seized.

A sources said, at least 80 soldiers were on the road between Onipanu and Palmgrove and pedestrians were forced to raise thei r two hands as they passed to avoid beatings by the soldiers.
