Professor Dora Akunyili died this morning been Saturday,7th June 2014, in an Indian hospital. After 2 years battle with cancer. A former Minister of Information and one time Director General for National Agency For Food And Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) .
Her family is expected to make an official announcement of her demise later.
She is regarded as Nigeria’s most effective NAFDAC Boss, Under Yar'Adua adminstration, she serve as a minister of information, She was a member of the National Conference before a death.
